After I had followed all the instructions to a tee and moved my forum I have a problem with the admin.cp.
I researched wiki.. and here and made all the changes including reloading a fresh copy again of the admin.cp to the forum. Everything else works on there even the usercp but when trying to access the page, I get a 500 internal server error.
I don't know what to do short of uninstalling everything again and starting over with a fresh copy of mybb. I hate the fact that I will loose all my mods.. so if that is the case I will not have time before the holiday to get the forum back up again.

If there is a file called .htaccess inside the admin directory, please delete it.
Note: In cPanel File Manager, you have to check View Hidden Files (dotfiles) when you open up the file manager

Ohhh I see delete the .htaccess file. Thank you.. and I will remember to click the show hidden files
