Resolved:
1) The groups have a new setting where you set the total cost.
in ACP Home » User Groups > Edit User Group
2) The 'other settings' area you can set a % and users pay that amount every month.

Yes, thanks.
At first it made no sense at all.
IMO, the virtual monthly payments is a great idea, tons of options for premium members.
