I was wondering what would i do if my p.c happened to be reformated? Would i save all the forum to a data pen? But then where would i upload them again?

Your forum's hosted from your own computer?
If so, just save the SQL db's, and the PHP files, and re-upload them to the designated folders in IIS, or whatever server software your using.
Else, if it is hosted by a webhost, then you don't have to save anything since they're already uploaded on the host's machine.

if ur using IIS , then it might be c:\inetpub ....
anyway the pc way, is to check ur server, and see the destination u have chosen.,

OS is the operating system, Windows ,or linux, or mac os bla bla
servers is the host software : IIS, APACHE etc....
