I want to lock a forum so nobody can post in that forum also forum is locked icon will appear in Index beside that forum. Please tell me how to do it?

ACP > Forums & Posts > **choose forum** > Options > Edit Forum > 'Forum is Open?' > Untick.

I would like to do the same thing (show locked) except make it so only Admins can post.

Okay, go to ACP>Forums and posts>**board you want to be admin only**>Scroll all the way down>Un-tick everybody but the admins on the "all" column

Hi, thanks... but all that did was only let Admins post. It did not show the lock icon next to the forum.
