Yes it should, and no, there is a plugin, it only works for some people though. Its called WordBB.
WordBB has many more issues.
Thats the thing. I know people it works flawlessly for, and some that have issues.

yes i did and guess cldnt find much of wht i was looking for
what i want to do is just put the information into members,php?action=login and not use the forms to enter the username and password becoz i already have that done. just need to put the info in mybb, what i would call automatic login minus using the form or letting the user type password and username again. i already have a function that gets the password and username --- now i just want to relay them to mybb
