Adjusting settings for attachments is repetitive if you make the same settings to the same types of files (images, sounds, archives, etc). An idea is to have attachment groups. In a group you would specify the name of the group, as well as the icon and maximum file size. You would then add to this group specific type extensions and MIME settings.
