i've been noticing that for long time. when ever u attach an image to a certain post, and u display it uing the img tags. your get Viewing Attachment instead of the thread's name, in the who's online page.

Yes that's right. We can not see which attachment on which post the user is.

Well there's only 1 user listing in the "Who is online" list, and since the image is loaded after the thread is loaded, the attachment will come up on the list as the latest action. So technically it's not a bug.
alright i know it's not a bug, but it's not a nice thing, i mean it should look as reading the thread.

This one should be fixes in MyBB 1.1.
Thumbnails vs [img]. Not 100% sure which one was fixed.
