Today when logging into my forum there were 125 people on a very rare amount for my forum.
Just now I went back and checked who is online,.. out of the 55 people there only 7 are somewhere on the forum. All the others are on no permissions page. This morning it was much the same. Out of 125 online only 12 were in places on the forum.
I want to know where these other users are hitting. Is there a mod that will tell me? I have a mod installed that has you ask a question to be able to register that only a human would know the answer to.

Are they all of a similar IP?? If you look in the sessions table in phpMyAdmin, you should be able to find their IP and see the actual location there.

Okay I will do that now because this is really puzzling LOL... I will get back here then. Thanks Matt

* Update:
I am blown away.. Many of them are trying to look at things that you can only access when you register. They all begin with 199.63.198.
The IP's are in succession and are from here:
Asia Pacific Network Information Centre

They are not registered in the Arin database. but I was able to find on Apnic, That they are all the same center.

If they're all with an IP with that much in common I'd just IP ban it, they're just wasting your bandwidth.

I am going to ban them .. I have a lot of bandwidth but I hate that it registers that when they don't sign up LOL..
