Just making change from vBulletin for 5 years!

Following the install at http://wiki.mybboard.net/index.php/CHMOD_Files
the file ./inc/config.php to 666, the only file in version 1411 is config.default.php
should this be changed to config.php then change the permissions?

Yes, you need to rename it to config.php and then CHMOD it.
