I'm trying to install MyBB on a local server using XAMPP for Mac OS X.
I'm just wondering how I would go about CHMODing the files. All Help Appreciated.
Aren't they already CHMODed now? If so, just use filezilla.
It should do it automatically, has the installer said they need to be CHMOD'd??
Yeah I went into the installer and it said that they needed to be CHMODD'D.
Hmm... only thing I could suggest would be to view your files via FTP and CHMOD them that way then like Mark said.
I can transfer the files into the /localhost/~Lyndon folder and access it online, however, when i try to put them into the xammp folder (htdocs/sites/folder/) i get failed permissions. I can access the xampp folder via FTP and still cannot upload. I dont know how to access the native Mac local host folder via ftp.
