Hiya guys,

I searched this already and found two different ways to go about it. I just want to clarify before I make any changes.

I want to change my forum that's on (http://www.landofdoria.com/aerorpg/index.php) to (http://www.aeternaroma.com). Both are hosted on the same hosting.

Would I need to change the database? I know I need to change the cookie/domain path.
Would I need to move the files to the aeternaroma.com directory?

Thanks in advance guys. Smile
Yes. Yes. And yes. Big Grin
Its the same way as changing hosts...
I did it once and followed this tutorial: http://community.mybboard.net/thread-27771.html
Change the settings as shown in the tutorial.
Cookie domain: .aeternaroma.com
Cookie path: /
Board URL: http://www.aeternaroma.com

Change these in the ACP then move the files, it'll sort itself out after that Smile
Thanks guys for the help. Big Grin

I'm still a bit lost. Do you mean move the files as in the css/all that or the database?

Update: I did as you said. Now I'm lost lol

When I try to back up the database, it only goes up to posts and then stops. Even though I have selected them all.
From Where you are backing up your database ?

There are 2 ways for making backup of database Phpmyadmin , and in Admincp ....
Which version of mybb were you running?
Where did you backup the db?
Are you getting an errors when importing?
If all you're doing is changing domains, you don't need to touch the database, or back anything up, as nothing in the database is changing, just edit those settings and move the files to the folder for the new domain.
I did the changing domain and it's worked. Big Grin

But there is now a problem with the graphics not working. How can I fix this?

Apologies about the belated response too.

And thank you for the earlier help.

P.S When I try to view the images it comes up with a 403 forbidden error.
probably related to either: incorrect file permissions as files should have 644/666 or mod_security.
Fixed it.

I also had a hotlink protection on.
