I downloaded the latest script for 1.4.11... uploaded and overwritten existing files, when i visit mysite.com/install/upgrade.php it says following:
Welcome to the upgrade wizard for MyBB 1.4.10.
It shud say 1.4.11, shudnt it?

In your AdminCP->Tools & Maint. try rebuilding your version cache.
you might forgot to upload core file which contains version number

Nah, one of my sites did the same thing, I just had to run the cache rebuild like I mentioned above.
run cache rebuild and try upgrading again?
Or just rebuild the cache and done?

I rebuilded version's cache but no luck. Still says I m using older version. Shall I try to upgrade one more time?
Reupload the changes files again then, if checking the version again didn't fix it then you must still have the old file.
