So is there no merger system or conversion system to go from IPB3 to MyBB?

Not yet there isn't.

The team have been busy with MyBB 1.6 and the Merge System isn't getting a lot of active development time at the moment.

Your options are:

• Wait as patiently as possible
  
• Write your own
  
• Modify the IPB2 to work with IPB3, which is the easy version of the previous option
  
• Pay someone to write it for you.

Would you be able to write one for this?

I would finance it.

But IPB is expensive. Why would you want to revert to something like this??

I don't have my license any more and want to try something new. ...

I found someone to convert it for me..

All you need to do is import into Vb 3.. Then export it into MyBB

Actually I saw it on their forum. All you need to do is pay 25 dollars to renew the license and upgrade to the latest version. Not bad if you ask me.

I had a partner on the forum and he's taking the license for other projects.

I believe that the only IPB3 converter is for vBulletin, so if you have a friend with vBulletin just ask them to help you import it and then from there you can move to MyBB.

Now I'm sorry I went away for awhile

I would have been willing to hire my services out to write this one. Unfortunately I went to West Virginia for awhile and missed that post. Oh well. Maybe next time
