Does MyBB have a setting or button to make backing-up the board a simple process? Or does the admin need to know how to back up the board with MySQL?

What, exactly, is the backup process?

Maybe more importantly, what is the RESTORE process?

If you have cPanel then you could backup the MySQL Board database. Then if the files are lost you can simply regenerate the tables and data using cPanel.

If you dont have cPanel I am not sure how you do it.

If you don't have cPanel you could use phpMyAdmin or MySQLDumper. Or you wait for the release of the eMods system.
