Is it possible to ad a banner ad on to my forum, just like this one http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/ (I know they don't use MyBB, I just like the design, not vBulletin). If so, How?

I've seen it on a couple of websites, but still not sure? Would this go in the header, and if so, where?

Two options. Use one of the many many plugins for ads. Or edit you header template, make a div, and drop the code there.
