How do you turn them off exactly?
Some members on my forums are bugging me by voting me 1 star.
And yes, I have searched it already but I found no "useful" help.

Admin CP > Templates > Modify / Delete > Expand > Members templates > member_profile
find & delete this

Via PHPMyAdmin you can also figure out how rated you bad and give you any good rating you like
