MyBB Community Forums

I'm not sure what to do for this one, or if it's possible.

Basically, I want a sub-domain I have to be a forum. I don't own the actual site itself, so I don't have all the main passwords and such.

"example.com" would be the site

"MyBB.example.com" would be mine

I know the main site's hosted on Yahoo.

What do I input for "Database Configuration?" Or can only someone who actually owns the site create a forum with MyBB?

We have no idea what you'd put in for database configuration, we have no idea what your database details are. You'll need to ask whoever runs the site.

Is there maybe a sample picture of this section with sample information inputted that I could try looking at?

But if he doesn't know database details what's he going to put in there??

There is no way for us to tell you what the database details are, they're not going to all be neatly displayed in one place, especially the password, you'll need to ask whoever has access to them. The installer says what information you need but only you can find out what needs to go in there.
