i'm changing from a free host to a paid domain but i am clueless on copying my forum so i don't have to start from scratch/beginning
I want to copy the database and all plugins themes etc...
So my question...
How do i copy my forum to a new host?
Is it a new host or you will just get another domain in the same host?
New host,
Old host was a free host at freehostia.com
New host is at hosting24 or something like that xD
After do this change in the ACP>settings>general configuration: (if necessary)
Cookie domain: .YOURDOMAIN.com
Cookie path: /
Board URL: http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com
I've done all of that but..
I can't login to the forum! :| :| :|
I think it's something todo with the cookies :\
I will try going to the old host changing the cookies in admin cp then reuploading the stuff to the new host see if it will work like that...

Don't forget to also edit the same settings in the ACP or else next time you save the settings, your changes will be overridden and you'll end up with old settings cached to inc/settings.php.
