I have two different windows boxes one running XP Pro and phpbb the Second W2000 Server with MyBB. I've downloaded the merge but can't figure out how to connect the W2000 to the database on the XP to convert the DB. What would I put in the database server hostname box. I've tried the IP and the DNS'd host name with no luck. Any advise would be great. Thanks

Umm well if the IP or hostname of the other server isn't working there isn't much we can do. I know someone has reported it working in the past.(like a week ago)

You could copy the database on the same server and then just use "localhost" for the host name.
