The question is pretty much in the title. I want to upgrade my forum but if I deactivate all of my plugins I'm scared I might lose some data (related with some plugins). Is it ok to leave my plugins activated through the upgrade?

What version are you upgrading from?? I don't think I've ever seen plugins causing a problem during an upgrade unless it's from 1.2.x to 1.4.x.
