If you notice that the top 2 are stickied and the bottom one, (Test new Message) is not. But it has that dot in there, isn't that a sticky mark?

No the 'dot' means that you have posted in it.

No, only you see your own dots (the threads that you have posted in). Any other user sees the normal icons with no dots, unless they have posted in it.

For me, I see no dots at all, since I haven't posted in any of the threads.
