Hi I hope you can help, i have searched the forums and can't find anything relating to this message.

I uploaded the files and chmodded the correct files (i have verified their status) when i try to connect to the files via http i get the following message:

"no input file specified"

TIA

So you're going to http://yoursite.com/forum/install/index.php in your browser and getting that, or...??

HI Matt, thanks for your rapid response. I have fixed the problem, deleted and re-uploaded the files, I did two things differently
1 i renamed config.php after it was uploaded not before.
2 i used one of your recommended ftp clients (FlashFXP) rather than my ancient copy of ftpx.
