hi there,

I was not able to find a way to set up the groups in a way to send to all the users in a group one alerting email when a new thread is created.
I mean when a thread is created in one specific forum.

Is it a standard option I can't find, or I have to use some plugin?

Or is not possible?

It's not possible by default, because you could end up sending tens of thousands of emails a day.

You'll need an SQL query to subscribe all the users in a particular group to a particular forum.
