I don't think there is an option.
It can be removed I think, deleting it forum the ftp-server...
But don't know which files I have to delete.
Just delete the whole reputations.php file?

anyway for the 1st case, i think , u have saw then from the user cp,
so pls go to User CP Tempaltes > User CP
and delete $reputation
u may also clean the mybb_reputation from phpmyadmin
If it's the sec case!!
pls remove the permission of giving rep for all the groups
