I've searched the forum but wasn't able to find anything about this. Basically, I want to restrict new users posting in certain sections of the forum until a specified number of posts is reached. Is this feature already available or maybe there is some mod to achieve this?

You can't do this by default, so you'll need to find a modification to do this.
