This hasn't happened to me before but when I install mybb the forum skin or whatever is not installing. I've tried to install it a lot of different ways and I still am. I've did 1.4.11 isntall to beta to duplicating a forum that doesn't have this problem. I just got a NEW mysql table and was installing it on that DB could that be an issue? I havn't tried to install a new forum skin yet but will try later when I have some free time.

You need to give it some time. That happens (to me at least) for every new installation. I'd say give it about an hour and see if it's working.

I did actually I gave it a day lol, I know the server owner as well so this isn't just some random free service. I also have two other forums hosted on his server (have different MYSQl DB's) and they seem to be doing fine. One of my forums is doing okay with beta 1.6.0
You don't have to wait for anything, it looks like you didn't CHMOD some things right, ./cache/ and ./cache/themes/ should be CHMOD to 777.

Also, 1.6 is not supported here.

reinstalled forums to 1.4.11, chmod 777 both chache and chahe/themes and still same results. Any other ideas"

MyBB's cache can't be read by the browser. For example here:
http://st0rage.org/~graalreborn11/rbose/...global.css

If you can't fix it yourself you would need to ask your web host.
I usually have to wait but it might have to do with the domain getting configured. It's never taken that long for me.

That's a bit odd because I have another mybb forum on the same server that works great.

forum that works.

May be possible the server owner did something I'm going to try out a few other things before I go to the server owner. I'm thinking that if I manually put in a skin it'll work. I like the mybb skin but meh.
fixed it, it was a option in winscp. I've never had to do this before but read what's in the picture. Thank everybody for your help Big Grin
