I have some clients who are looking to move their current boards to new softwares. They have been hearing amazing things about mybb 1.6., yes from me , and wanted to give it a spin. I have tried to download it from the svn area but for the life of me it doesn''t work. I would really appreciate it if someone can upload the 1.6 files here. As I said, I need it only to set it up as aa demo for my clients so they can use mybb. Thanks in advance to whomever will take the time to do it.

And 1.6 is coming very soon. From the MyBB Wiki "a beta is expected in January 2010". There's also a contest on MyBBSource to guess 1.6's release date. They wouldn't start the contest already if they weren't sure it was coming pretty soon (all the staff knows when, that's why they're not allowed to enter the contest there).

If you wish, I could set up the MyBB 1.6 files with a working install for you. Otherwise, you can use the link I gave above.

Use this one, it is posted by Matt. All files containing MyBB 1.6 will be deleted. Please use SVN, (follow the link above)
