is there a way to set guest to see pictures in post if they are in attachment but "not" download attachments files.

I tried to unselect "can download attachment" from guest group, but it stopped showing picture for guest, and when i select it, it let the guest to download any attachment file.

Can some please suggest solution.

If they click "insert into post" when they upload the attachment it should show them a small picture.

thats the problem..
even if attachment is "insert" in post, guest cannot see that picture

I think you'll need a plugin, I don't think there's a way to make them see only the preview.
