I figured I would start another topic to get to know others on the forum here and entice discussion.
What music/bands do you listen to?
I listen to the following bands:
Pearl Jam
Alice In Chains
Sound Garden
Guns N Roses
Metallica
and assorted rock altenrative bands and artists. My favorite is Pearl Jam though.

I listen to a bit of britney myself along with some other pop/r&b but I tend not to buy it much. Nothing wrong with listening to dido or britney. if ye get hazed then I do to.
I listen to a lot of Rap and Hip Hop. RnB too but it cant be too commericial because i get sick of it quickly have a look

Well, I suppose my name gives it away that I'm quite musical...
I like all kinds of music. I don't mind modern pop stuff, but also like all kinds of music ranging from jazz even as far as classical.
As I play in many bands, I'm especially interested in wind band music on the whole. I even like to write my own wind band music from time to time, but as of yet I've produced nothing special. Maybe when I get something good I'll publish it online and show it...
Well, that basically explains my musical interests...I like almost anything.

I can pretty muc listen to anything thats on my playlists. I'm particularly a fan of movie soundtracks and scores because there is some really nice music in them.
Apart from that, its pretty much Three Doors Down and Coldplay.. Some other stuff too.

You've got me thinking of John Williams and Hans Zimmer now...two of the greatest composers of film music.

Evanescence, Seether, Three Days Grace, Three Doors Down is just a small fraction of what I like.
I range from rock to rap, to classical, to Final Fantasy (yes, it's a genre in itself :p)
I like most music except country, newer rap from the last 10 years or so and opera, though I like classical.
My favorite bands in order are:
Metallica
Ozzy/Sabbath
Dio
Boston
My playlist - I have many other songs but those are on cd whilst these are my mp3s. I have over 125 cds.
