I believe not, they are quite different and display very different statistics.
Leaderboard is oriented in stimulating members to compete for the better place in it.
In "stats.php" you only see 2 members name the "Newest Member" and the "Today's top poster".
In my Leaderboard you see a list of
X names for these 3 categories "Top Posts", "Top Logged In Time" and "Last Active Users". The "Top Posts" category contain not only the count for today but since the beginning of the forums.
So, as you can see these two applications are quite different...

- Place leaderboard under footer and include/exclude banned members.
- New setting for usernames alignment.
