MyBB Community Forums

I think I figured out how to create special MyCodes. My problem is how to set them so that any one can use them. For example how to publish them as text or icons in the New Thread area in the existing tool-bar or new tool-bar(s). I spent the last two hours try to figure this out and get the impression that at this stage it is impossible.
In the mean time I am using combination of HTML code and BCC code (in the same thread0 with good degree of success. The problem is than many visitors may not have even basic HTML knowledge.

Overall, I think MyBB has some features that make it far superior than other very famous forums and I wish to congratulate your team.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Unfortunatley it is difficult to add custom items to the post editor, they can use the custom MyCode fine though without it, you just need to let them know how to use it so often people use the MyBB help documents to publish this information for example http://community.mybboard.net/misc.php?a...help&hid=7

To edit this go ACP > Configuration > Help documents > MyCode

It maybe that BCC is easier for the average user, I will give it a try.
