Well i was trying to upgrade it to the highest mybb as in right now which is 1.4 and when i installed it this is what appears on my site

and i tried to fix it but i cant

It looks like your config file was deleted somehow, get one from a new MyBB package, fill out the appropriate details and upload it to ./inc/config.php then tell us how it goes.

If the config.php file is still there rebuild it using this example config file http://wiki.mybboard.net/index.php/Inc/config.php

well when i edit the config there is nothing there
and the file i have says ./inc/config.default.php

What process did you take when you upgraded...?? What version were you upgrading from?? If you database still actually exists, you can rebuild your config.php file with this: [wiki]Inc/config.php[/wiki]

Is ./inc/config.default.php filled out properly? You can rename that to config.php if it is.

um hi lol im his network setup dude or watever you want to call it, i do all the hosting things, but when i open config.php, it actually says config.default.php which i got from the newest mybb download, its just a blank page. Anything useful there? Oh and we upgraded from i think mybb 1.11 or something like that

Ok, can you do as we have said and create a new file called config.php, put it in the /inc/ folder and put the config file example here http://wiki.mybboard.net/index.php/Inc/config.php (for the third time this link has been posted) filled out with the appropriate details into the config.php file you created.
