Just a question I have.

If a guest can view a thread, can they view attachments? For eg, I want to attach xml files of prints to the thread but don't want guests to be able to view them.

Nevermind, I found it. It is in the groups permissions.

I have similar problem. How I can hide image attachments for guest?

You can't, but they won't be allowed to download them if you disable their permissions. It does it by default, so if you haven't touched the guest's group the your attachments are safe.
