I am trying to have two separate forums running on the same site with different database names.

Forum 1 works fine at:http://www......./forums

Forum 2 does not 4 x install at: http://www............/forums_test

I have also copied forum 1 to the forum 2 folder and it works with the forum 1 database, but when I run install for forum 2 with its database end up with the page as shown in www....../forums_test.

Advice please or do I have to pay, it will be cheaper than Vb..

Remove ./inc/lock and run http://www.unifiedtranslators.com/forums_test/install/ and you should be able to install a seperate copy.

I can run the install and define a new db etc, etc with the lock removed from ./install but the result is as seen in
www......./forums_test.

(do not have a lock file in ./inc should I)?

Sorry, that was suppose to be ./install/ not ./inc/

Can you either upload the cached style sheet from your first install to/from ./cache/themes/theme2/global.css or I think if you edit global.css and save it the cache will be rebuilt.
