I installed mybb on GoDaddy. I can get to the install screen and it asks me to log into my SQL database. At this point I am unable to. I get the error below:

•Could not connect to the database server at 'mybbdatabase.db.5653946.hostedresource.com' with the supplied username and password. Are you sure the hostname and user details are correct?

Called GoDaddy and they ran a check on the Database and they said it was operating fine. When I try to log into the database from GoDaddy I can, but once I go thru the MyBB install window I can't.

Any suggestions, especially for the Database Server Hostname?

Quite simply you have entered the wrong details, make sure that the database name, username, password and database type are set correctly. Sometimes your host may add a prefix to your username and database and you may not realize this, copy and paste what it tells you straight from your hosting control panel.
