Well theirs the question, how do I get my forum on search engines?
You site will automatically get indexed by search engines if there are inbound links to your site, however you can speed up this process by submitting your site to the search engines and by building more links.

Well I have had my site for like 4 days and there is no link to my site on google, plus where do I add these tags from that tutorial?
Wait at least 2 weeks before you start getting concerned. Search engines can take their time. As I said though, getting links to your site from other websites will speed the process up significantly.

MyBB has META tags built in and you can edit these in your ACP. If you want to improve the default SEO functionality use this plugin http://mods.mybboard.net/view/google-seo
You should also read the SEO courses for the same plugin provided by a colleague above does not provide a big success.

Only 4 days?? It's not going to index your entire site and have it at the top of results after 4 days Smile You need lots of good content, otherwise it has nothing to index. It doesn't happen overnight.

I had something on my site call google bot but I stupidly I deleted it will this effect it?
No, that's just so you can see when Google visits and where it is, it'll still visit, just won't show up as a Googlebot.

So all I really need to get on the search engines is just fill my site with members and content, n stuff?
Yes and get LINKS to your website as I have said in both my posts. The more links you have the higher the chance that a search engine will find a link to your site and follow it while indexing another website. ie. the more links you have the quicker the search engines will find your website.
