I have created a few .gif's to use for group images. The image will not display. All I get is a red x. Do the group image fields have a size and dimension limit? Is there something else that could be causing the problem?

Make sure the path to them is correct in the settings for each usergroup. If it's a broken image, it can't find an image at the path you've specified.

To answer your PM, the path can't be right, look:

That's the URL of one of the images, and it goes to a 404, ergo the setting you've put in isn't pointing to where the image actually is.

Well I found two things. The file permissions on the images I created were different from the permissions of the images that are already there. I also noticed that I had the file name as ssg2.gif when it is actually SSG2.gif (caps). I changed both things and it is working now. Thanks Matt.
