How do I make my forum wider, because its really thin at the moment and I want to make it wider?
Admin CP > Templates & Styles > Your Theme > Global CSS > Select #container > Change to desired width.

Where is select container?
Once you click on Global.css, it will say Selector:
And next to it, a dropdown list, click on the dropdown list and select:
#container
Then change with width percentage.
