I was wanting to add a checkbox requirement on my registration page.
Namely an OVER 18 one. I currently have it written in my Agreement but would like to enforce it more if possible as i am a little concerned with this.
Is this sort of thing easily done or involve a lot of coding?
Any help would be appreciated.
I would say the easiest thing would be to enable COPPA compliance and set it to deny access to those under 13 then change that value in the language definitions to 18.
Thanks Tim. I do have COPPA running currently but wanted a more simple method.
However i guess COPPA will do for now.
I'll tell you what, it would be relatively simple to make a plugin to do this so if I get an hour or so in the next few days I'll make something up for you as I am sure this would be useful to other people to.
Brilliant and thankyou Tim. That would be great.
Ok here you go mate http://community.mybboard.net/thread-65231.html I made it fairly flexible so people can use it for other applications but by default it is set up to prevent under 18 registrations. Hopefully there isn't any bugs I have missed.

Enjoy, you drunken butthead :p (SF joke to those who are like WTF)
Wow that did not take long at all.
Thankyou heaps Tim. Works perfect too i might add. Very well done with the ACP options.
And lol yea i am the drunken butthead lol.
I will never live that one down Smile
