You have to actually install it... [Wiki: Installing] (Broken link, head over to docs.mybb.com instead)

Go to http://pwgirls.x10hosting.com/Upload/install/ and follow the steps.

It's also recommended to rename the Upload folder to something better, or just put the files in the root folder.

Kay.
So I just made a new MySQL database, now what?
I have a "config.default.php" in "inc" but not a "config.php". Could this be the problem?
You need to rename config.default.php to config.php
Plus are you sure you needed to make the edit to db_mysql.php like you said you did in your other thread?? You only need that if your host has a very old version of MySQL...

No, I wasn't sure.
Then you should ask your host to upgrade MySQL, there's no reason for them to be giving you that version. It's a bit like buying a new laptop with Windows XP on it, it'll physically work but Windows 7 is much better.
Oh no, wait, I do have a "config.php"
Apparently my "config.php" is empty...
Yes, have you run the installation script?? It gets written to during that.
What installation script?
I think I got it! I went to /install as said and it's working!
