It would be very nice to let user have the option of several text sizes e.g. 11, 12, 14, 16. This would massivley increase the accessibility of any forum.

I think he is referring to the text size on the board itself.

There is a plugin/template edit/theme that adds magnifying glasses at the top when one is clicked it makes the text bigger.
