I am setting up a web site (book library) for my church. I installed and configured phpBB two days ago. I was Googling for something today (I don't remember what) when I ran across something about MyBB. I read a few posts from others that made the switch and said they were glad they did ... so I took a chance.
Took about 15 minutes to download and do the initial install. phpBB is just about as easy so I wasn't impressed ... yet. When I went in to configure the settings, and to create the Categories and Forums, and everything else ... Now that's where I found MyBB to be superior! Very Nice guys!!
I can say I find MyBB much easier to configure than the other one. I am glad I made the switch and recommend it to anyone considering the same.
