I notice when you make a theme submission and probably mod submission you can choose a license from a list. However the list given is kinda small.
So my idea would be adding a few more.
I think that these should be added -
BSD Revised
MIT/X11
WTF License
MPL License
You can add your own custom licence there if you want, so you could just paste in whatever licence you want.
Isn't this meant to be a suggestion for this site? Since you can only submit things here and approved mybb forums.

True,but some people do not know about all the possible licenses which means they only choose which seems most fit from the list.
It is mainly to give more choice to the users

There are too many licenses out there. What we have chosen is what we believe are the core basic most popular and useful licenses out there. Any other licenses would just confuse more and more authors on what to pick.
The authors should be taking time to research and determine which licence best suits their needs any way.

Plus I wasn't saying add every license just some more well known ones like the bsd and mit license.

Since when were the WTF and MPL conisdered "well known" licenses, in which you also suggested? Let's be fully inclusive in our examples if we're trying to make a point. I certainly have never heard of the WTF and MPL licenses.
Thats odd that you haven't heard of the license Firefox uses...
As for the wtf license it isn't really needed its just like the MIT license.
The ones I would really like to see added is the bsd revised,mit,and the MPL.
