I'm completely lost about what you're doing. Why didn't you mention you were also changing hosts to begin with?? Also why does the file path start with C:\, is this being hosted on your computer or something?? And if the ACP and User CP are going to the 'old site' you must have changed your URL, which you didn't mention before... what you're saying isn't making much sense. Just transfer your 1.4.2 forum to your new host, as it is currently, and then upgrade, or upgrade on the old host and then change hosts. If you are seeing that error then the forum you are looking at does not have 1.4.11 files.
