For some reason, when I try to edit a skinm it keeps saying im not a valid admin and i have to keep editing and nothing.

It seems to be that I also cant log out ot anything :/
Delete all of your cookies and off-line content (File Cache) in your browser, and log in to see if your permissions are now Ok!
You should make sure that your cookie settings (
Admin CP --> Board Settings --> Change --> General Configuration) are set correctly:
If the url to your board is:
http://www.yoursite.com/yourforum/
Cookie domain: .yoursite.com
Cookie path: /yourforum/
I can now log in and log out, but for some reason, when I hit submit when editing a skin, it tells me to log in saying im not valid.
I can edit evertything else fine, its just the themes I cant edit.
I recently did a fresh install and I still get the same problem

Ok, I don't know what your cookie path was before all of this....
Try making the Cookie Path /
Nothing else... Just the forward slash.
Thats what I currently have:
Cookie Domain .potter-community.mobstop.com
Cookie Path /
And the problems still percist.
Got me beat as you're the only one with this problem. ??
Try checking the folder permissions at the server.. All folders should be at least Chmod 755. ??

Checked them and everythig is set right. I am also confused about what is wrog. I'd really like to use mybb.
Could you make me an admin account on your forum and PM me the link, and the login info. Then I can check it out, since I haven't had this problem, and I have no idea at this point.
