Somebody had come up with a fix for this issue quite a while ago for an earlier version of MyBB, but I can't find the thread anymore. The problem:
The sub-forums of a forum or sub-category are shown on the index page, but there's no indication if there are new posts inside them.
Example: [attachment=2251]
Just like the person who has changed that before I think it'd be nice having a small dot or something in front of the sub-forum's name that has new posts in it.

hm, my new posts indication doesn't funcion at all, at least what my users told me - I don't look at this feature, because I know whats new
