I accidentally made myself a regular user on my own forum, I was really tired, (I don't even see why MyBB would have this.) Thankfully I have another admin account. The problem is, when I try to make myself admin again from my backup admin account, it says:

Quote:You do not have permission to edit this user because you are not a super administrator.

The odd thing is, I didn't even know that a "Super Administrator" even existed. So is there anyway to be a root admin on my own forum again?
UPDATE `mybb_users` SET `usergroup` = '4' WHERE `uid` = '1';

That's assuming your UID is 1.
Where do I put that?
In phpMyAdmin.
Where do I enter the query in PHPMyAdmin?
Choose your database from the list on the left, click the SQL tab along the top, paste and Go.
Thank you so much!

It's funny how you make comments like this after making posts like you have here about "rules"...

Kinda like "do as I say not as I do"!!
I actually made a comment, not just posting a link.
