When you look up an IP, MyBB should check if that IP has a user account and tell you which user.

I happen to know that an addon is in development which will add this feature to your board. It's a good suggestion for a future release which can be considered.

If you search for a user in the Admin CP, there are two options you can search for regarding IP. First is the registration IP, and second is the posting IPs.
