Well, the way you have it now, all it does is look shorter but when you click it, it goes right back to the original domain. Using the DNS will make it your own domain.
Example: Instead of it going from vanguardvengeance.co.cc right back to the original domain, it'll show vanguardvengeance.co.cc/index.php/. Again, PM me if you need any help with it and I'd be more than welcome to.
