Admin CP --> Configuration --> Custom Profile Fields.
When filling the form out to add a Field check "NO" when it asks "Required?".
Selecting "no" will then not make it show up on the registration. What I want is it a profile field not being required AND making it show up on registration.
I think this is not a feature by default, but is there a mod or something that could do it?
I've been meaning to make it for a while. One day I'll get round to it.
Would something like this be able to get on 1.4.12 or will I have to wait for 1.6.0?
By the way, I do appreciate what you both have done.
No, we wouldn't add something like this to any minor release, they're always bug/security releases, and 1.6 is feature frozen.
